Thoubal District Police organized a “Ningol Chakouba” program at Heirok Police Station on Friday, attended by around 300 women from Thoubal and neighbouring Tengnoupal districts.
The event aimed to seek women’s cooperation in maintaining law and order. SP Thoubal Manoj Prabhakar M, IPS, highlighted the importance of police-public partnership and assured the police’s commitment to safety and service.
Senior officers, including Additional SP (Ops) Hijam Devendra, SDPO Yairipok and Additional SP (LO) Divya, DSP (Ops) M. Binodkumar, DSP (CDO) N. Sadananda, Dy SP (Ops) Y. Sunanta, and OC Heirok PS Inspector Leimapokpam Amit, also attended.
SP Thoubal emphasized that the police are servants of the people and appealed to women to cooperate in maintaining peace and order. The program strengthened community relations, and participating women appreciated the initiative by Thoubal District Police.
