A district-level workshop focused on MGNREGA implementation and best practices was held today at the Election Counting Hall, DC Complex, Thoubal. The event brought together Mate functionaries from various Gram Panchayats across Thoubal district to enhance awareness and streamline work execution under the rural employment scheme.
Organized under the initiative of the District Programme Coordinator, MGNREGA Thoubal, the Training-cum-Workshop aimed to provide hands-on guidance to field-level workers. The session was facilitated by A. Ronesh, IT Manager of MGNREGA Thoubal, and Lisam Tomba, who served as resource persons.
They spoke extensively on effective work documentation, monitoring, and use of technology in executing schemes under MGNREGA. The event was attended by district officials, including District Programme Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer Ph. Babhanada Sharma, BDO Lilong H. Kiromani, and BDO Wangjing Tentha Sima Sanjenbam, among others.
