June 04, 2026 (TBL): In connection with the stabbing case of a Head Constable of the 4th IRB attached to Thoubal Police Commando, the police arrested two individuals identified as Md. Naobi alias Mahil (25), son of Md. Tamijur Rahaman from Moijing Leingoijin, and Salman Khan (30), son of Md. Allauddin from Moijing Maibam Leikai.
The Head Constable, Khoirom Suresh (40), son of late Ibopishak from Yairipok Laimanai, Imphal East, was attacked while he was on duty apprehending drug peddlers at Moijing Meena Bazar Thongkhong, Thoubal, on Wednesday at around 8 pm.
