A free dental camp brought bright smiles to the students of Ruda Academy, Thoubal Wangmataba, as MB Oral Clinique in association with Mona Laboratory conducted a health initiative for Class 10–12 and B.Ed students. Nearly 150 students availed themselves of free dental check-ups, oral care samples, and valuable guidance from dental experts.
The camp was led by Dr. Thiyam Sophia and Dr. Supriya, who not only examined students but also encouraged them to adopt simple habits that ensure lifelong oral health. “Good oral health is the foundation of overall well-being,” they stressed while sharing preventive tips.
Adding to the enthusiasm, Ruda Academy Chairman Elangbam Shachi Singh expressed gratitude to the organizers. “Oral health is often overlooked, yet it plays a crucial role in a student’s growth and confidence,” he said, praising the contribution of MB Oral Clinique and Mona Laboratory for promoting preventive healthcare.
Mona Laboratory also introduced affordable health packages for routine check-ups, aiming to instill the importance of early health prioritization among students.
The initiative was well received, with students and faculty alike appreciating the emphasis on oral hygiene—a subject often neglected in the academic environment.
