March 4, 2025: Imphal, March 4: In celebration of Women’s Day, the Thoungambi Women Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited organized a voluntary blood donation camp at JNIMS Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Unit, Imphal.
The event was promoted by the Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) under the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, aiming to highlight the role of women in community service and healthcare support.
Speaking at the event, Konjengbam Lakshmi, General Secretary of the Society, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to social initiatives, stating that such programs would continue in the future. She emphasized that women’s active participation in blood donation not only saves lives but also empowers them to contribute meaningfully to society.
