Three Grabbed for Cattle Smuggling in Khudengthabi

Security forces at Khudengthabi checkpost in the Tengnoupal district of Manipur detained three individuals smuggling cattle in a vehicle with forged documents on late Thursday evening.

At least 13 cattle, with an estimated cost of Rs. 8,45,000 (eight lakh forty-five thousand), were recovered. All three individuals involved are said to be residents of M. Chahnou Village, under Moreh Police Station in Tengnoupal District, and have been identified as Hemminlen Haokip (26), Shuhao Haokip (59), and Henkholal Lhouvum (36).

One four-wheeler vehicle bearing registration number MN-07C-3345, which was used for cattle smuggling, has also been seized, according to police.
