Arambai Tengol, Singjamei Unit 37, in collaboration with Salai Athouba Kangleipak Riders and local Meira Paibis, today carried out a tree plantation and cleanliness drive at Pishum Chinga Ching and various locations across the Singjamei area.
The drive, led by Unit 37 coordinator Leishangthem Yaiphaba, involved the active participation of community members who planted saplings.
Alongside the plantation activity, a cleanliness campaign was also conducted to clear garbage and restore public spaces across Singjamei.
Speaking to media persons, Leishangthem Yaiphaba said the initiative was undertaken as part of Arambai Tengol’s continuing efforts to protect the environment and promote civic responsibility.
He added that such efforts also aim to encourage unity, responsibility, and awareness among the local populace, especially the youth.
