In an operation led by ASP (Ops) Moreh Md Riyajuddin and OC Moreh Md Salauddin, 21 Assam Rifles Yangoubung Post and Moreh Police intercepted two vehicles, a Bolero and a Creta, recovering 30 packets of contraband and a substantial amount of cash totaling Rs. 2.6 lakh.
The operation, carried out with precision, also resulted in the apprehension of two individuals, Paojathang Kipgen and Kamminlun Kipgen from Govajang village, Moreh.
The arrestees were found in possession of illegal substances and mobile phones, marking a crucial development in the ongoing efforts to curb illicit activities in the region.
