March 23, 2025: Assam Rifles has seized 34.94 grams of heroin, worth Rs 24.45 lakh in the market, in Lunglei Town, Mizoram.
The contraband drugs were seized from two individuals in a joint effort by Assam Rifles and the Excise and Narcotics Department on the 20th of March.
The arrested persons, along with the seized items, have been handed over to the concerned authorities for further action.
