A two-day Artificial Intelligence workshop was held on August 21–22, 2025, at the State Academy of Training, Takyelpat, Imphal, jointly organized by the Government of Manipur, NeGD, MeitY, and the Department of Information Technology.
The event was inaugurated by Secretary (IT) Thokchom Kiran Kumar, Director (IT) Nambam Deben, and SeMT Head Potsangbam Henry. Sessions focused on AI for Good Governance, Safe and Trusted AI, productivity enhancement, and AI applications for official documentation.
More than 50 senior officers participated under the State Capacity Building Series, aimed at promoting efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric governance through AI adoption.
