Feb. 10, 2025: Manipur Police arrested two (02) active cadres of the KCP (Apunba) organization from the Rupmahal Tank area in the state capital, Imphal, under City Police Station.
The arrested have been identified as:
(i) Haobam Malemnganba Singh (22) @ KGF
(ii) Sharuk Ahmed (18)
The arrested persons were directly involved in extortion activities in the Rupmahal Tank area and had served monetary demands to various shops located at Rupmahal Tank, according to the police.
The following items were seized from their possession:
i. Two (02) mobile handsets
ii. One (01) two-wheeler
iii. One (01) side bag
