Security forces arrested two KCP (PWG) members, one from Imphal East and another from Thoubal District of Manipur.
The person arrested from Khurai Angom Leikai, under Porompat-PS, Imphal East District, has been identified as Ngangom Rabi Singh alias Nganba (46), and according to police, he was directly involved in extortion activities from various oil pumps located in the Imphal area.
Meanwhile, the other KCP (PWG) cadre arrested from Thoubal District has been identified as Buyamayum Arif Khan (30) from Lilong Ushoipokpi under Lilong Police Station, Thoubal District. According to police, the arrested individual was involved in extortion activities targeting the general public, brick fields, sawmills, banks, hospitals, schools, colleges, oil pumps, shops, and stone crusher contractors in Thoubal District.
