April 26, 2025: In an intelligence-based operation conducted in the valley area of Manipur, two PREPAK (Pro) cadres have been arrested from two different locations on Saturday.
The first arrest was made at Tellou Mamang Leikai, under Lamlai Police Station, in Imphal East District, identified as Elangbam Langamba Meitei @ Ibungo (25), and police said the arrested person was directly involved in extortion activities.
Meanwhile, another active member of PREPAK (Pro) was arrested from Seijang Mayai Leikai under Yaingangpokpi Police Station of Imphal East District, identified as Khongbantabam Samarjit Meitei @ Langamba (26), who was involved in extortion activities, said police.
