Feb 26, 2025 : A joint team of the Commando Unit Thoubal, led by OC/CDO Thoubal and operating under the supervision of SP Thoubal District, seized two suspected stolen vehicles during a routine patrol at Lilong along NH-102 this afternoon around 1:30 p.m.
The vehicles, found abandoned near Lilong Kalikhong oil pump, include:
- A white Hyundai i20 (Registration No. WB06H 4223)
- A golden-silver Maruti Alto LXi (Registration No. MN03A 16677)
Given the suspicious nature of their abandonment, the vehicles were seized and handed over to the OC, Lilong Police Station, for further investigation and necessary action.
Authorities are working to determine the ownership and circumstances surrounding the vehicles.
