In two separate operations carried out by the security forces on Tuesday, two members belonging to two different outfits were arrested.
First, one person identified as Yengkhom Bhogen (50) from Lilong Chajing Awang Leikai, said to be an affiliate of the proscribed RPF/PLA, was arrested near Mayanglambam Lampak, Imphal West. Police recovered one mobile handset and a wallet containing Rs. 1,500 from his possession.
In another operation on the same day, one Pukhrambam Thoiba Singh, alias Khairakpa, aged 38, from Ngaikhong Khullen Mayai Leikai, Bishnupur District, associated with the KCP(MFL), was apprehended opposite E-Cube Departmental Store under Heingang PS.
The operation yielded one two-wheeler, two mobile handsets, a wallet containing Rs. 1,000, and one Aadhaar card.
