Imphal, October 26: Expressing solidarity with the people of Manipur, Indian Youth Congress (IYC) President Uday Bhanu Chib called on the state’s youth to lead efforts in building a peaceful, prosperous, and united future for Manipur.
Speaking at a One-Day Youth Convention organized by the Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (MPYCC) at MSFDS Hall, Konung Mamang, Imphal East, on Sunday, October 26, Chib reflected on the hardships the state has faced over the past 29 months. He highlighted that the youth of Manipur have endured immense challenges and missed opportunities, yet continue to hold on to hope and the pursuit of justice.
Chib emphasized that the crisis in Manipur is not merely a law-and-order issue but a humanitarian concern requiring compassion and understanding. “What Manipur needs today is empathy, harmony, and healing,” he said. He further underscored that “Manipur’s peace is India’s peace,” urging the youth to rise above fear and division and work towards a new era of justice and unity.
