December 22, 2025 : The 30th Raising Day of the Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO), Leirongthel Branch, was observed today at Masa Shanglen, Leirongthel, in Thoubal district.
The programme was organised under the aegis of the Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO) Eastern Headquarters No. 1, Nongpok Sekmai Battalion, operating from the Meitei Huyen Langlon Sintam Shanglen (Satjal Academy).
As part of the observance, floral tributes were paid at the memorial of the organisation’s founder, Oja Luching Purel RK Manisana.
The Raising Day programme was attended by office-bearers, including secretaries and commanders of the organisation, along with UFO members from various parts of Manipur.
