Feb 20, 2025: Days after the arrest of the UKNA Finance Secretary, another UKNA cadre involved in extortion, kidnapping, weapon smuggling, and drug trafficking across the India-Myanmar border has been arrested from Churachandpur district.
The arrested person has been identified as Seiminlen Doungel (35) of Tuibong village, an active member of the banned outfit. Security forces also seized one (1) AK-47 with a magazine, one (1) 0.315 rifle with a magazine, one (1) single-barrel rifle (country-made), and 23 rounds of 7.62mm ball ammunition.
Other items recovered from the person include a mobile phone, a driving license, a PAN card, one (1) Canara Bank debit card, two (2) SBI debit cards, and one (1) voter ID.
