Jan. 28, 2025: In a remarkable achievement, two students from UNACCO School, Khongman, were selected as part of the prestigious Super 100 winners in the Veer Gatha 4.0 competition.
The national initiative, launched in 2021 by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education, seeks to educate school students about the bravery and sacrifices of India’s gallantry award winners.
The two students, Eenungnganbi Laishram from Class VIII and Nivana Chakpram from Class XII, were recognised for their outstanding entries in the painting category for Classes 6-8 and 11-12, respectively.
Their accomplishments mark a proud moment for UNACCO School, as they were among the top 100 winners selected from numerous entries nationwide.
The Super 100 winners were felicitated in New Delhi on 25th January by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan.
Each winner received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a medal, and a certificate, alongside an exclusive invitation to attend the Republic Day Parade as special guests.
UNACCO School expressed immense pride in the achievements of its students, noting the growing participation and success of the school in national events like Veer Gatha.
