An under-construction building collapsed on Saturday in the Paharganj area of Delhi, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The incident occurred near Krishna Hotel on Ara Kansa Road, where the side wall of an under-construction basement gave way.
According to officials, three people were initially trapped under the debris. Rescue teams managed to extricate them, but all three were later declared dead.
Four fire tenders were rushed to the spot as search and rescue operations were launched swiftly. Efforts are ongoing at the site to ensure no one else remains trapped.
