April 21, 2025: The United National Liberation Front–Manipur has expressed its heartfelt condolences on the sudden, untimely demise of local cadre Naorem Thoujal-heiba alias Anand after his duty-line on April 20.
According to the Department of Publicity and Education, UNLF, the deceased braveheart breathed his last while performing his duty at the camp, hit by a friendly accidental misfire from another person. On his sudden death, the UNLF along with its armed wing has also expressed heartfelt sorrow of the incident and also paid the highest revolutionary salute to him. The deceased braveheart Naorem Thoujal-heiba, as a revolutionary member, joined the party and acquired militia training in 2023 and joined the party during this month of April.
According to the statement issued to the press, the deceased is generous and respectful to authority, who has never been scared of becoming a martyr for his people and the land, and brave and disciplined. Since joining, (Itao) Naorem Thoujal-heiba has taken all parts in the movement and took all the responsibilities assigned to him till the end of his days. The UNLF and MPA said it wholeheartedly shared the pains and sorrow of the deceased and the bereaved. The Party also wishes that the soul of the bereaved be laid to rest peacefully.
