His father, Moirangthem Manihar, who was formerly the Headmaster of Martin Grammar School, Kakching, located in Irum, Kakching, worked tirelessly to provide a good educational environment for the students of this state but has now retired from service. Rahul’s mother, Mandadori, has retired from service as an Administrative Officer at the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
In the words of the elders, “A son who follows his father’s teachings becomes a good person.” Rahul’s elder sister, Monica, is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Manipur University, and his elder brother, Krishna Moirangthem, is working as an Assistant Commandant in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) after passing the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) examination conducted by UPSC.
