June 14, 2026 (THOUBAL): The VDF Welfare Association, Thoubal District, extended financial assistance of ₹3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh only) to the family of late VDF No. 1432 Salam Amarjit Singh of Uyal Makha Leikai, who was posted at the Reserved Line, Thoubal District.
Late Salam Amarjit Singh passed away on June 3, 2026, due to an illness.
The death benefit was handed over to his widow, Smt. Salam(o) Rebika Devi, at the office chamber of the Superintendent of Police, Thoubal District. The assistance was presented by Shri Manoj Prabhakar M., IPS, Superintendent of Police, Thoubal, in the presence of DHQ Thoubal officers, namely Shri Y. Shamu Store OC, Shri Y. Shankerdash Mangang RO, Shri S. Shoba Singh, and members of the Executive Committee of the VDF Welfare Association, Thoubal District.
The financial assistance was disbursed from the VDF Welfare Fund, Thoubal District, as part of the Association’s commitment to supporting the families of VDF personnel in times of distress.
