Manipur Police on Thursday arrested a vehicle lifter and recovered a stolen pickup truck in a swift operation. The arrested individual has been identified as Md. Asad (29), a resident of Kairang Awang Leikai, Imphal East district.
Acting on specific inputs, a team from Singjamei Police Station apprehended Asad from Kwakeithel Sangaiprou Mamang Leikai under Imphal West district.
During the operation, the police recovered a DI Tata Yodha (Regn. No. NL07AA/0711), which had been reported stolen earlier.
