The workshop-cum-training, which will continue for three days starting today, aims to equip participants with essential skills in photography and videography. Speaking at the event, Dr. N. He further highlighted the importance of photography in documenting forests, wildlife, and natural landscapes. Photographs play a vital role in showcasing environmental changes and rare species to the public, thereby raising awareness and encouraging conservation efforts. He also noted that photography and videography are integral to modern journalism, as visual content is highly demanded across media platforms.

Shri Th. Bijoy Singh, General Manager, DIC/Chandel, encouraged trainees to take advantage of government loan schemes to establish their own photography ventures or studios in Chandel. He assured that the District Industries Centre (DIC), Chandel, would extend the necessary support to aspiring entrepreneurs in the field.

The training program is expected to provide meaningful skill development and open new avenues for livelihood among the participants.
