Senapati, October 3, 2025 (DIO-IPR): The District Administration of Senapati, joining the nationwide movement of the world’s largest tribal grassroots leadership programme for administrative efficiency and effective implementation of Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan (AKA), began a Village Level Workshop today for Tadubi Block at Zaikarii Colony Community Hall under Makhrelui Village cluster.
The Makhrelui Cluster consists of 8 villages – Taphou Phyamai, Taphou Onaeme, Makhrelui, Sadim Naga, Maram Khunou, Khabung, Khabung Karong, and Kathikho. The programme witnessed active participation of village authorities along with youth leaders, women leaders, and SHGs in the two-day Village Level Workshop for Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan under Viksit Bharat, aimed at developing One-Stop Tribal Service Centers and Village Action Plans through grassroots changemakers.
The key aspect of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is the village map created through transect walks and drawing up of the Village Action Plan. The AKA for Tadubi started on October 3, 2025, and will continue till October 14, 2025, covering 28 villages in 5 clusters.
During the programme, the Block Nodal Officer and Block Master Trainers briefed and highlighted to community leaders the purpose of AKA, which aims at empowering tribal communities, strengthening responsive governance, and creating local leadership opportunities across the country.
