IMPHAL, 20 JAN 2025 : The Churachandpur District Administration on Monday organized a vibrant wall painting competition centered on the theme of “Road Safety,” aimed at fostering awareness and responsibility among the youth.
Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar, the event took place at Rengkai Government Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Memorial High School, and Phungkhothang High School.
Enthusiastic students showcased their creativity through compelling artworks, using vibrant colors and innovative concepts to convey crucial messages on safe driving practices and adherence to traffic regulations. Themes ranged from the importance of wearing seat belts to the hazards of distracted and intoxicated driving.
Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar commended the participants for their enthusiastic involvement and emphasized the pivotal role of youth in advocating for road safety within their communities. He urged them to propagate these vital messages among their peers and families, thereby contributing to a safer road environment for all.
