DEC 16, 2025 (IMP): “Government will come, must have to come, but before that there has to be peace in the state,” BJP MLA Tongbram Robindro of the Thanga Assembly Constituency, who returned to the state on Tuesday after a high-level meeting in Delhi on Sunday, informed the media at Imphal Airport.
The BJP MLAs who returned from Delhi include Dr Radheyshyam Yumnam of Hiyanglam AC, MLA Thangjam Arun (Wangkhei AC), MLA H. Dingo (Sekmai AC), and MLA Yumnam Khemchand (Singjamei AC).
MLA T Robindro also added, “I cannot say the timeline (for the government), but the government will come, as there has to be peace in the state,” and termed the meeting a “good” and fruitful one. He added that the first main part is to have peace, and then stability will come.
MLA Robindro also stressed the imperative need for peace in the state and said, “We have to live together, and all we have to do is forgive each other’s mistakes, and things will follow.”
