March 14, 2025: Manipur Police have arrested a woman suspected to be an active cadre of the proscribed People’s Liberation Army (PLA) from her residence under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West District.
According to the police, a pistol along with a magazine, eighteen 9 mm live rounds, and fifteen .38 live rounds were recovered from her possession. Additionally, officials seized Rs. 5000 in cash, two Jio SIM cards, three Airtel 5G Plus SIM cards, and six mobile phones of different brands with multiple SIM cards.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain her activities and possible links.
