Feb. 18, 2025 : Many women, especially ‘Meira Paibi,’ continue to speak up against the imposition of President’s Rule in the state, demanding the formation of a government as soon as possible.
The women from Tellou Village, in the Lamlai Assembly constituency, located in the Imphal East district, took to the streets and staged a sit-in demonstration demanding the formation of a government and the imposition of President’s Rule.
The women demonstrators also said they would stand against any arrest of village defense volunteers and asked the concerned authorities to form a government as soon as possible under an able leader.
