In celebration of “World Veterinary Day” under the theme “Animal Health Takes a Team,” the Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital, Jiribam, organized an Anti-Rabies Vaccination Camp today at Kalinagar, Jiribam.
As part of the initiative, a total of 68 animals were vaccinated against rabies. The vaccination drive, conducted from 7:00 am to 10:30 am, was carried out by doctors and staff of the Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital with active participation from local residents.
Initially planned to be held at Jiri Keithel, Ward No. 4, the free anti-rabies vaccination camp was later shifted to Kalinagar due to logistical reasons, ensuring greater accessibility for the residents in the area.
Officials from the Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital expressed gratitude towards the public for their cooperation and encouraged continuous efforts to protect animal health, emphasizing the importance of community participation in disease prevention.
