In observance of World Environment Day, Lukram Leirak Youth Club, in collaboration with the Urban Forestry Division, Mantripukhri, successfully planted 100 trees.
Led by Forester Aribam Premananda Sharma from the Urban Forestry Division and Club President Sushil Soibam, along with Secretary L. Sanjitkumar Singh, Vice President M. Manoranjan, Finance Secretary Thiyam Dhananjoy, Advisor Saratchand Thiyam, and Social & Cultural Activist Rakesh Naorem, the initiative aims to enhance environmental sustainability and promote green cover in the locality.
Club President Sushil Soibam expressed, “On this World Environment Day, planting trees is a crucial step towards restoring our environment and ensuring a sustainable future. It is our collective responsibility to nurture these trees and protect our ecosystem for generations to come.”
